Description:
Wood frame pack covered with canvas. Canvas laced to pack through brass grommets with cotton "halibut line". 1.74 inch cotton web pack straps screwed to frame at upper end and attached to lower end of frame with adjustable leather strap and buckle. 5 metal screw hooks along each outer edge of frame. Approximately 20 feet of 0.25 inch cotton rope wound around hooks for lashing. Pack is handmade based on commercially produced pack called "Trapper Nelson" per Al Shaw.
