Description:
Small metal souvenir spoon (probably silver). The neck of the spoon is carved in a Totem Pole Pattern. The end of the spoon has the head of a man with the words "Chief Kasko" written below the head. The bowl of the spoon has the word "Douglas" engraved inside with a leaf vine pattern above and below. Back of bowl engraved with the letter "C." The neck of the spoon has a small triangle with the words "Sterling" "Totem Pole" Alaska" written on it.

Item was probably purchased by, or owned by Katherine Cunningham Hellenthal, wife of Simon and mother of John Simon. Donor is wife of John Hellenthal.
