Description:
Thomas A. Edison 80 RPM Diamond Disc Record. Black disc with recordings on both sides. Information on recordings impressed on to center section of each side. A hole located directly at center fits over support protrusion on a phonograph. There are three circular indentations at the top and lower bottom corners of center section (around text). Rest of disc contains the sound ridges.

Center sections list the title, artists and preformer information for the corresponding side's recording at the bottom. There is an image of Thomas Edison's bust to the left of center and the logo to the right which indicates that the record is "A PRODUCT OF THE EDISON LABORATORIES". Above center is the text: "EDISON".

Side 1: Why Don't You — Fox Trot by "Afgar" (Tierney) and preformed by Lenzberg's Riverside Orchestra. Side also has the numbers "50733—R" and "7667—A—1—2".

Side 2: Good As Gold — Waltz by Kendis—Brockman—Hoffman—Sherman and preformed by the Max Fell's Della Robbia Orchestra. Side also has the numbers "50733—L" and "7674—C—3—2".
Notes:
Thomas Edison made records and record players specifically designed for each other. Other companies were making 78 RPM records which would not play on Edison phonographs without a special needle attachment.
