Photolithograph of oil painting. View from water of Juneau in distance at foot of snow—capped Mt. Juneau. Late evening or early morning sky casts pink glow on clouds, water, and mountain. Painting predominantly blue tones. Foreground: right, fishing vessel leaves wake by red buoy, headed for city. Large steamship moves away from town; in lower left, water birds swim on and fly near surface of water. In distance, boat passes under bridge at center left. AJ Mill structure can be seen with its windows lighted on center right. Water is calm and sky is overcast. Inside mat is grey; middle mat, blue; outside mat, grey. Antique silver wood frame with glass.

Notes:
Painting shows Juneau before Alaska Juneau Gold Mining Co. Mine complex shut down in the 1940's. Bridge is old Douglas Bridge, which was replaced in early 1980's.
