Insulator
Title:
Green glass insulator, internal threads, from Dupont Line
Description:
A small, cylindrical shaped aqua green glass insulator for an electrical line. It is capped with a dome and has a groove around its head that the wire would have wrapped around. On the inside of the insulator are threads, so the piece was screwed on. Embossed on the top is a symbol that looks like a backwards "4" and embossed on the side is, "Brookfield", perhaps that is where the piece was made. Also there is a label on the side of the insulator with a strip of tape over it. The label says, "Dupont Line".
