Title:
Green insulator from 700' mine, "Transposition No.2"
Description:
A green glass electrical insulator. It has a domed top and groove beneath it that probably served as a place for the electrical wire to wrap around. Below the groove is a flared out piece of glass, that looks like a mushroom. Below this, is the flared out base and embossed on the side is, "No. 2 Transportation". The insulator is hollow on the inside and has a series of threads for screw—on application.
