Description:
1 pair of wood sock dryers.
A — dryer is made of "birds eye" maple.
B — dryer is made of straight maple.
Each is shaped like a sock, looking at it from side and each has five 2 inch diameter holes for air flow to speed up drying. At top of cuff each has hole for hanging and a #12 stamped for sock size. Strings are attached to both dryers in holes for hanging.

Notes:
Purchased by donor 1940 in Seattle before moving to Alaska. Donor knit socks for husband, Edwin C. who worked at Juneau Cold Storage. Several wet pairs of socks would be on at 1 time — outside 1 removed as it dried, per donor.
