Description:
A—B — 1 pair of hand knit wool socks in brown, blue, green and light tan. Calf area is decorated with cable stitch on outside of leg only; rest of stocking in stockinette stitch. Size 12, Man's. Elastic thread woven through top edge of each cuff.
Notes:
Knitted by donor, Mary Elizabeth Johnson, for her husband, Edwin C. Donor states she would often unravel the foot & knit new 1 to existing cuff, hence different colors. Mr. Johnson worked for Juneau Cold Storage.
