Description:
Undyed cotton rectangular bag, completely stitched on 3 sides, stitched approximately 5.5 inch on top. Open on top proper right from front. Front imprinted "C and H SUGAR PURE CANE BERRY GRANULATED 5 LBS. / C and H NET WT." in blue dye. Red pentagram outlining words "PURE…GRANULATED" Reverse has imprinted top proper right "TO OPEN". In blue box, "CUT LAST TWO STITCHES / REMOVE CENTER STUB / UNRAVEL BY PULLING BOTH BLUE AND WHITE STRINGS". Also centered, in blue, "GROWN AND REFINED IN U.S.A. / CALIFORNIA AND HAWAIIAN SUGAR REFINING CORPORATION / SAN FRANCISCO CALIFORNIA / COPYRIGHT 1934 / CK / 5 LBS / C and H NET WT." Blue and white stitching at top.
