Description:
A: Quilt depicting a map of downtown Juneau, the Gastineau Channel and Douglas. The mountains are quilted in layers depicting their topography. Many of the streets of Juneau and Douglas are indicated with string or ribbon. The Douglas Island round—about is represented by a button. Neighborhoods, mountains, and locations are labeled. Buildings and sites are labeled by a drawing either sewn on to the quilt or attached via pin. The quilt is has five straps attached to the top edge, adjustable via velcro, from which it hangs.

B: Cloth raven attached to black ribbon with two beads, one red and one light blue. The raven also has a small black bead as an eye.

C: Driftwood hanging rod.
Notes:
Seven members of the Gold Street Quilters collaborated to make the quilt for the 2014 summer exhibit "Outside My Window" hosted at the JDCM. The quilters were: Clare Brooks, Deb Giles, Jeanie Henry, Julianna Humphreys, Caroline Malseed, Joyce Sarles, and France Schrup.
