Crazy Quilt
Description:
Crazy quilt in somber colors of brown, tan, gray—blue, soft peach and navy with a few red patches, has incomplete decorative stitching. Quilt composed of three rectangular panels; one outside panel measures approximately 20.0 inches wide, other outside panel approx 9.5 inches wide, is one large block — no individual blocks. Lining is white flannel and backing composed of several fabrics in large panels of brown, black and camel colors. Embroidery stitched in yarn and embroidery floss.
Notes:
Possibly made by Anna Snow, great grandmother of donor; however, due to varying amount. of decorative stitching per panel, each may have been stitched at different time & / or different people. Preserved by Jenne / Kenway families.
