Description:
Large metal kerosene lantern designed in six sections:
(1) Top cover with loop wire handle;
(2) circular section with eight oblong openings;
(3) circular section attached to glass has many tiny round holes;
(4) round glass 4.0 inch chimney set in
(5) metal rim;
(6) base section for lantern has small screen on lid for opening. 2 straight side pieces have wire handle attached for carrying lantern. Wire strips around glass, crossed front & back. Wick & holder inside glass.
Inscription: "LOC No B / (PAT') 3—10—48 2—18—18 / 48" on glass.
"NO. 2 CROWN" on base
