Thomas A. Edison 80 RPM Diamond Disc Record. Black disc with recordings on both sides. Information on recordings impressed on to center section of each side. A hole located directly at center fits over support protrusion on a phonograph. There are three circular indentations at the bottom and top corners of center section (around text). Rest of disc contains the sound ridges.
The center section of side one contains the text: "50741—R / EDISON / My Mammy / (Walter Donaldsen) / Male Voices with Orchestra / PREMIER QUARTET / 7707—C—2—8".
The center section of side two contains the text: "50741—L / EDISON / Look For / The Silver Lining — Sally / (Jermone Kern) / Soprano and Tenor with Orchestra / BETSY LANE SHERPERD and / LEWIS JAMES / 7708—B—1—6".
The center section of side one contains the text: "50741—R / EDISON / My Mammy / (Walter Donaldsen) / Male Voices with Orchestra / PREMIER QUARTET / 7707—C—2—8".

Notes:
Thomas Edison made records and record players specifically designed for each other. Other companies were making 78 RPM records which would not play on Edison phonographs without a special needle attachment.
