Title:
Green Screw—cap Electric Wire Insulator with Wire
Description:
A small, green glass electric wire insulator around which a metal wire is wrapped. The insulator is cylindrical—shaped with a dome top and a hollow interior. There are two rings around the top mid—section around which a medium gauge wire is wrapped. This wire is covered in a textile insulation, but some of this insulation has been worn away, especially around the portion that contacts with the glass insulator. The wire then wraps around itself and has created a loose bond with the glass insulator, but it cannot slip off. The interior of the glass insulator is hollow with a series of threads for a screw—on purpose. Embossed on the side of the insulator is the label, "Brookfield" and a backwards "17" on the top of the insulator. Also, there is a strip of paint on the inside lip of the base with a label scratched into the paint, but it is indecipherable.
