Object Name:
Insulator
Title:
Blue Ceramic Electric Wire insulator with Wire Attached
Description:
A small, ceramic insulator with a blue glaze and made in a "T—shape" style. There is a long coiled wire attached to one end, possibly copper. Written in a light blue glaze on the top is "Silvertone" and "Pat. Appd. For". On the bottom is a plastic—like cover with a three holes and a rivet that connects through to the top of the ceramic part. Out of one hole are some metallic wires and the other two are some other material that cannot be ascertained. It is unknown what is inside the hollow part of the ceramic piece that is covered by the plastic—like covering. Also, the measurements are for the insulator only and not the wire.
