Description:
A — 3 inch by 3.5 inch reel of aluminum discs joined by brass 1 inch rods. Exterior metal pieces secured by large central screw. Numerous holes in center of upper and lower discs. Etched lettering shows patent dates, maker's logo and company's initials.
B — 4 inch by 4 inch by 3 inch square box w/ blue paper covering and interior beige.
C — 4.75 inch by 4.75 inch by 2. inch square box lid. Dark red and tan top with blue sides. Black lettering to and front end gives company names, location and name of item.
Inscription: A — "Y&EA" Auto Reel made by Horrocks—Ibbotson Co. / Hoorocks—Ibbotson, Co. / Utica, N.Y. Dat'd Feb 28, 88—June 16, '91 USA"
B — "Automatic Fishing Reel / Horrocks—Ibbotson Co. / Manufacturers fishing tackle / Utica, N.Y. Successors to Reel Department / Yawman & Erbe Mfg. Co. / Rochester, N.Y., U.S.A." on box.
"Automatic Reel / No. 2 / Aluminum / Carries 150 Feet of Line" on side of box.
