Gas Mask
A: Mask
Black rubber mask with adjustable straps to secure on head. Two see through plastic eye coverings rimmed in silver metal. Around bottom is a black plastic hose that leads to a canister.

B: Harness
Cloth harness. Wraps around metal canister. Four adjustable straps come from a canvas body. The body of the harness wraps around the canister and is adjustable. It is tied shut by a red shoelace.

C: Canister
White metal canister, writing under holder. Hard to read without taking the item out.

D: Case
Rectangular red case with black metal edging. On front it says "MSA / Chlorine / Only / Mine Safety Appliances Co. / INDUSTRIAL / GAS MASK." "Chlorine / Only" is written in off—white paint the rest is printed onto cover. There is a red splotch of paint on the bottom below the words "GAS MASK." Rust on corners, random paint marks on case.

Removed harmful gasses or vapors from air that is inhaled into the system. It does not provide oxygen.
