Description:
Scale model of amphibian type plane with 2 overhead props, floats attached at outer most ends of wings and retractable wheels in hull. Body painted in blue and yellow with airline's logo on each side of front hull. Logo: yellow circle with navy blue lettering "ALASKA COASTAL AIRLINES" surrounding Alaska State flag on white ground; yellow wings extend from circle toward rear of plane. Model rests on 2 Plexiglas supports which are set into varnished wood base.
Inscription: On brass plaque on base: "1958 ALASKA COASTAL GOOSE / 1/24th SCALE MODEL BY SCOTT DOYLE & TERRY RICHARDSON / KETCHIKAN, ALASKA"

Model, built by Scott Doyle and Terry Richardson, both of Ketchikan is the result of their deire to develop and distribute Grumman Goose kits for retail sale.
