Description:
Rectangular metal base with .25—inch hole at top center for hanging. Surface is simulated wood. Metal lid, top hinged, 10.5 inches by 8.5 inches, covers unused 9 inches by 7 inches cards with numbers (1—31) printed in black. Bottom of lid rests on two metal hinges to hold cards. Lid has cardboard sign attached by four brass tacks. Below is 2.5inches by 1.5 inches octagonal window which reveals days of week printed on circular cardboard. Metal base is attached to cardboard on back and has octagonal window at bottom which shows month. On back are instructions for hanging and changing date. Under date cards are more directions and five small calendars including 1917—1921. It's a "perpetual calendar".
Inscription: "The First National Bank of Juneau; Juneau, Alaska; Capital $50,000; Surplus and undivided profits over $40,000".

Apparently gift to businesses from bank. Found in basement in Douglas and given to donor;
