Description:
Large bentwood box with three kerfed corners and fourth corner and bottom attached with lashings. All four sides painted with fine formline designs in red and black paint. Tool marks visible, especially in bottom of box.
Notes:
Used as laundry box drop point on porch of Ann Eaton's Basin Road house, brought to her by Tlingit women in village she hired to do her laundry. Further info in donor's file
