Description:
Tall cylindrical jar with white screw—on lid holds two approximately 9 inches by 1.75 inches fish skin lures. Metal swivel linked to staples emerges from "mouth." White scaled fish skin folded along "back," cut in shape of herring, head and belly stapled together. Tails have four free appendages. Packed in water that has some sediment. Eyes of fish are yellow—orange disks with name of maker. Bottom of jar imprinted.
Inscription: "ALLMAN'S SILVERSIDES / A/5536/11"
