Every year during Christmas holidays, Mr & Mrs. Walter H. Fukuyama, owners of the Juneau Laundry, showed their appreciation to their regular customers by giving them a gift. Bachelors received either Juneau Laundry bag or towel & table cover or runner was given to families. They were ordered well in advance & were never late in arriving. Papa painstakingly wrapped table cover or runner in white tissue paper & tied the package w/ red ribbon for families. Bachelors received their gift in their clean, wrapped laundry —— so it was a surprise then they opened their bundle.
Donor is daughter of Fukuyamas.
