Description:
A — Balance with 7—inch brass crossbar, 2.5—inch by .5—inch pans, 3.375—inch by 2.25—inch by .875—inch weight holder. Iron needle and chains. Vertical piece attaches to pivot point with balance crossbar and needle. Arms of crossbar hold pans via chains. Slightly off—balance when unloaded.
B—M — brass weights, one 2 oz., three 1 oz., two 1/2 oz., one 10 DWT, one 5 DWT, one 4 DWT, one 3 DWT, two 2 DWT. 4 DWT, 3 DWT and one of 2 DWT's are rectangular in shape with rounded corners. All others under 10 DWT are round . Larger weights (.5 oz. to 2 oz.) are cylindrical with small knob handles.
O—R — Wooden weight holder that hold four weights: one 4—oz., one 2—oz., one 1—oz., one .5—oz. all triangular shape. 2—oz. and 1—oz. weights stuck in holder.

Notes:
Found in the basement of old Peterson place, Juneau. Donated in the memory of the donor's husband, Carl Jensen. Carl Jensen was the Peterson's nephew. Weights do not appear to be from same set.
