Blackened small cylindrical crucible. Molten clear material (silica?) encrusted in places, flaking; small pouring spout at one side of top opening.
Notes:
Used in Peterson family's mines, generally used in gold & silver gold sponge after mercury burned off; similar to refineries only on smaller scale.
