A photographic slide in a small cardboard Kodachrome frame (brown with red trim). The frame is labeled "Teen—Age Float 7/4/55" in handwriting. The image shows a parade float traveling down an unknown street in Juneau. Captured from a diagonal, the right side of the float is visible, traveling past the camera. Buildings are visible in the background. The float itself is composed of a truck bed pulled by a red cab. The text on the side of the float reads "Gastineau Channel is Proud of its Teen Agers". There are four cardboard cutouts with heads of actual photographed people atop the float, along with a United States flag. The number "8" is printed in red ink on the frame at the upper left.
