Description:
A photographic slide in a small cardboard Kodachrome frame (brown with red trim). The frame is labeled "Entering Wrangell Narrows 5—22—53" in handwriting. The image shows a body of water extending into the background. There is a left shore and a right, with the left being the far. On the near shore, there is a boat docked (from which the image was taken) with cars on its deck. A vessel is traveling on the water toward the far shore. In the background, at the center of the body of water, a long range of heavily snowcapped mountains straddles the image. The number "3" is printed in ink on the frame at the upper left.
