Black and white photograph of crashed plane. Image shows most of the back and right side. The aircraft is at an angle with its nose to the ground and tail in the air. The aircraft's right wing is crumpled into multiple pieces. Text on the plane's tail reads: "NR—856H TYDOL". Text on the body of the plane reads: "LOCKHEED". There is also an arrow on the side of the plane's body. Partial, indiscernible text is visible on the right wing. There is a crowd of people and trees in the background.
Verso has a stamped "B75" in the upper proper left corner in red ink. The word "VELOX" is repeated in diagonal rows on the back (probably kind of paper or developing company).

Photograph is of Bromley's "City of Tachoma" in 1929 and has the caption of being the First Low Wing Lockheed.

The album belonged to William G. Brian Harland. He was a mechanic for Alaska—Washington Airways and Alaska Southern Airways. He was based out of Juneau.
