Black and white photograph of crashed plane. Image shows most of the right side of body of the plane and its tail; the nose is cut off by the edge of the image. The aircraft is at an angle with its nose to the ground and tail in the air. The aircraft's right wing is crumpled into multiple pieces. Text on the plane's tail reads: "NR—856H TYDOL". Text on the body of the plane reads: "LOCKHEED". There is also an arrow on the side of the plane's body. A piece of debris is behind the plane toward the proper right of the image. There is a man standing behind the plane in the background next to a tripod stand of some sort. In the background to the proper right is another tripod stand and a motor vehicle. Buildings, trees and skyline in far background.
Verso has a stamped "B75" in the lower proper right corner in red ink.

Photograph is of Bromley's "City of Tachoma" in 1929.
