Black and white photograph of people attempting recovery efforts after the landslide that occured in November of 1936. Individuals are seen using shovels to remove dirt from various locations. Dirt is seen everywhere in the photo, along with pieces of wood and wire. The roofs of two houses are seen in the background, one on the proper left and the other on the proper right. Written in white on the bottom of the photo is text that reads, "53 \ [copyright symbol] 36 ORDWAY"
