Description:
Black and white photograph of the aftermath of the landslide that occurred in Juneau in November of 1936. The photo was taken from the street. Seen on the proper left are two parked cars. The car parked closer to the landslide and telephone pole has the license plate number "1783". There are buildings to the proper left and right of the street. The landslide brought dirt and land into the middle of the street, affecting the balance of one of the telephone poles causing it to become slanted. There are people seen all about the photo, looking at the effects of the landslide. Written on the bottom of the photo in white is text that reads, "25 \ [copyright symbol] 36 ORDWAY".
