Description:
Black and white photograph of the aftermath of the landslide that occurred in November of 1936 in Juneau. Seen in the photo is dirt having traveled just beyond the Juneau Cold Storage facility and ending near the Snow White Laundry, the building next to the cold storage. There are four people seen standing on the dirt from the landslide in the middle of the street. There are three trucks parked at the spot where the landslide came to a stop. The trucks appear to be there to haul dirt away. Sitting on the dirt, near the trucks, are planks of wood. The Juneau Cold Storage and the Snow White Laundry are the two businesses captured in the photo. Written on the bottom of the photo is text that reads, "LANDSLIDE Nov. 22, 1936 \ JUNEAU, ALASKA \ T. Davis"
