Description:
A photographic slide in a small cardboard Kodachrome frame (brown with red trim). The frame is labeled "July 4th 1950" in handwriting. The image shows a parade float turning a corner from one street to another. It is the Mendenhall 4—H Club for Boys float. From this aerial view, the float seems to simulate a farm or petting zoo, with faux greenery and perhaps replica animals along with the boys. The crowd can be seen on both sides of the street. The number "15" is imprinted on the frame at the upper left.
