Description:
A photographic slide in a small cardboard Kodachrome frame (brown with red trim). The frame is labeled "Roberta Queen July 4th 1950" in handwriting. The image shows a parade float turning a corner from one street to another. It is draped in white fabric with red trim, and four women are seated atop it. Three are clustered toward the front, all in fine gowns. The fourth woman sits toward the rear in a green gown, wearing a tiara. All hold boquets. A portion of the crowd can be seen on the sidewalk. The number "13" is imprinted on the frame at the upper left. The text "3X 13197—L1" is printed in blue on the top edge of the frame.
