Description:
A photographic slide in a small cardboard frame (off white with red rear text "Color Transparency"). The frame is labeled "Going up Stickine[sic] River — 7—6—69" in handwriting. The image shows the exterior of the wheelhouse of a rivergoing boat on the starboard side. The wheelhouse has lateral, front, and rear windows, with an overhanging roof. All that is visible of the prow in front of it is a railing. The Stikine stretches before the boat, toward mountainous shores thick with greenery in the background. At center, a there is a shore with a mountain which bears what could be a vassal creek of the river cutting downward through the mountainside. The text "JUL69" is etched into the frame at the upper edge, possibly signifying the date of development.
