Description:
Black and white photograph of a float plane (sea plane) tied up next to three boats and a wooden dock. Text on the side of the plane identifies it as one of the Alaska—Washington Airways fleet. Aircraft's nose is facing the boats and the proper left edge of the photograph. The middle of the three boats is identified as "TIBET" by text on the side of the boat's bow. The boat on the far proper left has text on one side of its bow reading " WEREWECO" and text on the other starting with an "H". Mountains, water, and a shoreline with buildings and docks in the background.
Verso has a stamped number "17" in the lower proper right corner in blue ink.
Photographs is of the Seaplane 'Petersburg' at Wrangell in 1931.

The album belonged to William G. Brian Harland. He was a mechanic for Alaska—Washington Airways and Alaska Southern Airways. He was based out of Juneau.
