Description:
Black and white photograph of a float plane (sea plane) tied up next to a shoreline. Text on the side of the plane identifies it as one of the Alaska—Washington Airways fleet. Aircraft's nose is facing away from the shoreline and while its take is resting on the bank. The left side of plane is visible. There is a man standing on the back end of the plane's left pontoon. Snow capped mountains and a water way in background. Shoreline in foreground is sandy and grassy.
Verso has a stamped number "55" in the lower proper right corner in blue ink.
Photographs is at the Twin Glacier Camp on the Taku River in 1931.
