Description:
A photographic slide in a small cardboard Kodachrome frame (off white with yellow and red corner trim). The frame is labeled "[illeg. text] Women's Float 1st Prize Winner for 4th '59 best '49 Theme" in handwriting. The image shows a wide dirt lot, captured diagonally. At left there is a low brown building bearing a sign reading "F.M.S. Electronics Division." Parked cars surround the structure. A float is passing the camera at left, moving in that direction. It is blue with white trim, and the side bears text reading "0—439" with the first character obscured by a passing pedestrian. There is a model of some kind of structure perched on the center of the float, and a structure in the shape of a heart attached to the rear. A woman in a gown sits under the heart. Behind the float, there is a small colorguard on foot, and behind that a vehicle decorated in white trim. The number "14" is printed in red ink on the frame at the upper left.
