Description:
A photographic slide in a small cardboard Kodachrome frame (brown with red trim). The frame is labeled "Teen—Age Float 7/4/55" in handwriting. The image shows the flatbed truck with the red cab, captured diagonally moving left past the camera. This side of the float has a different set of cardboard cut outs with heads made of photographs of actual people. The text on the side is identical to the other, reading "Gastineau Channel is Proud of its Teen Agers". The green slope of a mountain can be seen rising at right. The number "13" is printed in red ink on the frame at the upper left.
