A photographic slide in a small cardboard Kodachrome frame (brown with red trim). The frame is labeled "Mt. June from Distin Ave — 2—9—51" in handwriting. The image shows a skyward view looking toward the south face of Mount Juneau at what seems to be sunset. The slopes are heavily capped with snow. The trim and rooftops of several houses are visible in the foreground shadow of the mountain. Telepone or power lines cross the image from the center left to the top right. The number "8" is imprinted on the frame at the upper left.
