A photographic slide in a small cardboard Kodachrome frame (brown with red trim). The frame is labeled "July 4th 1950" in handwriting. The image shows a parade float with a Christian theme. A large sign protrudes from the top with text around a clock reading "Purity, Aid, Progress. Suffer Little Children to Come Unto Me". Under it, two children kneel at what may be an altar draped in white, while an older woman sits toward the right. The rear of the float is draped in faux greenery. The side of the float reads "Moose" which may be cut off from Moosehead. The crowd can bee seen on the far side of the street. The number "17" is imprinted on the frame at the upper left.
