Set of eleven (11) sample postcards from box (2014.11.034 A—B) used at Paul Bloedhorn's jewelry shop. These eleven postcards feature photographs of various Alaska and British Columbia, Cananda locales.

A: Black and white horizontal postcard. Front has a photograph of a cityscape. Buildings fill the space. Just below center is a wooden plank road. There is a convertible car parked. There is one man in the car, sitting in the driver's seat. Two additional men are standing hear the car looking towards the coastline in the background. All the buildings and roads appear to be on risers. In the lower proper right corner is an illustration of a scroll with text reading: "HYDER \ ALASKA". In the upper proper left corner there is purple text stamped on to the card which reads: "SAMPLE \ PLEASE ORDER BY NUMBER \ THIS IS NO. _______ \ Scenic Photo Publishing Co. \ 614 1st Ave. SEATTLE". On the line for the number is "A154" handwritten in black ink. One the back is black typed text reading: "SCENIC PHOTO PUBLISHING CO. SEATTLE WASH \ POST CARD \ CORRESPONDENCE ADDRESS". There are two black horizontal lines between the "POST CARD" and "CORRESPONDENCE ADDRESS".

B: Black and white horizontal postcard. Front has a photograph of a town street. The road is wooden planks. There are buildings on either side. Mountains and trees in background. There is one car on the road. Four people are visible. Three are looking out of one door way and the fourth is looking out of another with the sign "CAFE" above. Near the lower edge is black text reading: "Street Scene, Hyder, Alaska." Near the upper proper right corner there is purple text stamped on to the card which reads: "SAMPLE \ PLEASE ORDER BY NUMBER \ THIS IS NO. _______ \ Scenic Photo Publishing Co. \ 614 1st Ave. SEATTLE". On the line for the number is "A72" handwritten in black ink. One the back is black typed text reading: "SCENIC PHOTO PUBLISHING CO. SEATTLE WASH \ POST CARD \ CORRESPONDENCE ADDRESS". There are two black horizontal lines between the "POST CARD" and "CORRESPONDENCE ADDRESS". The number "72" is handwritten in pencil in the lower proper left corner.

C: Black and white horizontal postcard. Front has a photograph of a landscape. There is water flowing between two areas of tree and grass covered land. There is a bridge in the background connecting the two sections of land. In the lower proper right corner is an illustration of a scroll with the text: "MILES CANYON \ ALASKA". Near the upper proper left corner is purple text stamped on to the card which reads: "SAMPLE \ PLEASE ORDER BY NUMBER \ THIS IS NO. _______ \ Scenic Photo Publishing Co. \ 614 1st Ave. SEATTLE". D: Black and white horizontal postcard. Front has a photograph of a landscape. Water is in the foreground and mountains in the background. The mountains are reflected by the water. Fog or low clouds are just about the flat lands. In the lower proper right corner is text reading: "A112 \ Fraser Lake \ Alaska". Near the upper proper left corner is purple text stamped on to the card which reads: "SAMPLE \ PLEASE ORDER BY NUMBER \ THIS IS NO. _______ \ Scenic Photo Publishing Co. \ 614 1st Ave. SEATTLE". G: Black and white horizontal postcard. Front has a photograph of native man dressed in regalia holding a spear. There is a bear next to him (presuming stuffed) on a wooden incline. There is buildings and fence in the background. Black text along the upper edge reads: "Taky Henderson at Carcross. Y.T. The last living discoverer of the Klondike Gold". Near the upper proper left corner is purple text stamped on to the card which reads: "SAMPLE \ PLEASE ORDER BY NUMBER \ THIS IS NO. _______ \ Scenic Photo Publishing Co. \ 614 1st Ave. SEATTLE". The ship has three levels and smoke stacks. Text on the bow of the boat identifies it as the "TUTSHI". There is an illustration of a scroll in the lower proper right corner with the text: "THE TUTSHI \ A102 AT CARCROSS".
