Black and white photograph of a float plane (sea plane) in the middle of a waterway (Lake Dorothy). A man is on the plane's left pontoon with a paddle in his hands. There are icebergs in the water around the aircraft. A glacier and snow spotted mountains in the background. Water in foreground. Verso has a stamped "68" in the lower proper left corner in blue ink.

Photograph is of the float plane named "Skagway" at Lake Dorothy in 1930.

The album belonged to William G. Brian Harland. He was a mechanic for Alaska—Washington Airways and Alaska Southern Airways. He was based out of Juneau.
