Year Range from:
1925
Year Range to:
1935
Description:
Black and white photograph of an aircraft and three men. The aircraft is being viewed from the right. It has a three—bladed propeller on its nose. The cabin has four windows (one in the door). The cockpit is above the main cabin. The tops of pontoons can be seen along the lower edge making the airplane a float plane (sea plane). There is a man standing in the cockpit. His body is facing the camera. He wears an eye patch which identifies him as Wiley Post. Another man is standing on the right wing of the plane and is leaning against the cabin. He is looking up at Wiley Post. The third man is visible in the lower proper left corner. Only his upper torso, head and left arm are visible. He is facing the other two men with his back to the camera.

Verso has stamped black text along the upper edge reading: "POST CARD \ CORRESPONDENCE ADDRESS". In the upper proper right corner is a square consisting of smaller squares and the letters "AZO". With in the square is text reading: "PLACE \ STAMP \ HERE".
