Black and white photograph of a float plane (sea plane ) docked along a shoreline. The tail of the plane extends over the shore. The airplane is being viewed from the right side. Text on the side of the aircraft reads: "PACIFIC ALASKA AIRWAYS". Text on the side of the tail reads: "NC 119H". Shoreline has trees, bushes and other vegetation. Background has water and vexation filled land. Six men are near the plane. One is located on shore near the plane's tail. Two are standing on the aircraft's right pontoon, one at the nose and one behind the wing. The other three men are standing on a makeshift wooden dock under the plane's right wing. There is cargo on the wooden dock that is being loaded into or unloaded from the plane.
Verso has a stamped number "2" in black ink located in the lower proper right corner.

The album belonged to William G. Brian Harland. He was a mechanic for Alaska—Washington Airways and Alaska Southern Airways. He was based out of Juneau.
