A is album page. B—K are black and white photographs. All photos horizontally oriented unless otherwise noted.

A — Black paper album page with two holes proper right side. Four photos affixed to front, one missing; six photos affixed to back. Captions printed in white ink beside photos to which they refer; "Paul" printed in white ink, lower proper right corner, next to number "3" handwritten in pencil.

B — Photograph (4.25 inches by 3.0 inches ), depicts one—story building with pillars surrounding front door. Four men gathered at proper right corner of building, one more appears to be walking toward them from front door, approximately. five other people scattered along exterior of building from front entrance to proper left corner. Large clearing in foreground of photo, in front of building. Large pole in front of building between front door and proper left corner with rings hanging from top (see Notes). Caption below photo reads "Federal School".

C — Photograph (4.25 inches by 3.0 inches ), vertical orientation, two dump trucks in large rocky clearing, one angled toward proper right edge of photo (hood cut off by photo's edge), one further back angled toward front and proper left. Caption above photo and extending over next photo reads "Rated at 1 1/2 tons!".

D — Photograph (4.25 inches by 3.0 inches ), vertical orientation, dump truck facing proper right edge of photo, rocky clearing in foreground, Federal School in background, other buildings on hillside visible behind school. Dump truck bed is full of what appear to be rocks. For caption, see C.

E — Photograph (4.25 inches by 3.0 inches ), vertical orientation, shadow of photographer visible on sidewalk and rocky clearing in foreground. Three houses in background, center house white, proper right house dark, proper left house light—colored with a darker patch. Caption above photo reads "At the place of beginning; thence ——".

F — Photograph (4.25 inches by s3.0 inch ), side shot of dump truck facing proper left, unloading rocks against the wall of a building (part of wall is light—colored, part dark). Man visible standing next to truck, on opposite side of it from photographer, facing unloaded rocks. "92" and words (too small to read) printed on door of dump truck.

G — Photograph (4.25 inches by 3.0 inch ), open space, edge of road in foreground, rock fill beyond. Part of house in upper proper left corner with man standing next to it, back to photographer. Several houses on pilings in background.

H — Photograph (4.25 inches by 3.0 inch ), two trucks in large rock—fill clearing facing proper left , four buildings in background with more visible on hill beyond. Thunderbird High School on far proper left edge with round window (as per Willette Janes). Karl Nelson and Judy Franklet disagree, say it is not so. Caption below photo reads "6 trucks average use". Ken Willard had a house on the hillside.

I — Photograph (5.0 inch by 3.5 inch ), two men in work clothes on rocky ground, holding round point shovels. Man on proper right appears to be in process of digging into or tamping down rocks; top of head cut off by top edge of photo. Man on proper left leaning on shovel with other hand in pocket; head and shoulders cut off by top edge of photo. Wall on proper right side.

J — Photograph (5.0 inches by 3. 5 inch ), open space, edge of road in foreground, rock fill beyond. Part of wood—sided house visible in upper proper left quadrant; appears to be same house as in G. Two piles of rocks against wall of house on side closest to photographer. Other buildings visible in background in upper proper right corner. Caption below photo reads ""We'll help, but you finish the Job".

K — Photograph (4.5 inch by 3.0 inch x 3), open area filled with rock, four houses in background, corner of one house along proper right edge in foreground. Man walking next to this corner, back to photographer.
Notes:
B — As per Marie Olson, the hanging rings formed a type of swing; a child would hold on and swing around the pole in a circle.
E) Karl Nelson and Judy Franklet say the center house was Cecelia Kunz's, to the right is the Thunderbird Tribal house, Al McKinley clan owns the screen (now at ASM?) and at the left is the Johnson House.
