Photo of mutliple snow covered houses and buildings in the Gastineau Avenue area of Juneau. Snow lined roofs with smoke stacks can be seen in the foreground of the photograph. A wooden lamp post with a white circular shaped glass covered can be seen in the bottom corner of the proper left. Entire houses and buildings run horizontally across the lower half of the photograph. The upper half of the photograph shows a wooded hillside several downed trees. A wooden building can be seen in the upper corner on the proper left of the photograph. Several of the houses are labeled along the proper left of labeled in black ink. From proper left to proper right: "Goldstein House / Kajander House / Koski House / Larson House / Boch House / Morgan House" Additional markings in black ink are noted above the labeled houses.

Reverse is labeled in purple, fushia, and black ink with a series of similar stamps with varying dates and signatures. The stamps on the reverse resemble the following two layouts: "In Cause no. ___________ / ___________ Clerk / By ___________ Deputy" and "____ Exhibit No. ____ / Received in evidence".
