Black and white photograph of many people gathered to remove the debris to rescue Lorraine Vanelli from the landslide that occurred November 1936. Seen in the photo are people equipped with shovels to remove the dirt and rubble from the location in which Lorraine Vanelli was trapped. Written on the top of the photo in white is text that reads, "Removing the debris to rescue \ little Lorraine Vanelli. Nov. 24 1936". Signed on the bottom left of the photo is, "T. Davis \ Juneau".
