Black and white photograph of a float plane (sea plane) traveling on the water of the Gastineau Channel. Mount Roberts and the Alaska—Juneau (AJ) mine are seen in the background. Photograph print has a white boarder around all four sides.

On back, handwritten in blue ink is text reading: "Kindly tell me why \ we should waste \ any more films \ getting this. Now when I take \ Pictures of my children \ they have grown — \ so there is some excuse".
Notes:
The photograph belonged to William G. Brian Harland. He was a mechanic for Alaska—Washington Airways and Alaska Southern Airways. He was based out of Juneau.
