Black and white photograph of a float plane (sea plane) in the Gastineau Channel with four men on it's pontoons. All men are in uniforms. Two are standing at center looking at the camera. The other two are sitting on the proper right. Mount Roberts and the coast line of downtown Juneau are seen in the background. Photograph print has a white boarder around all four sides.
On back, handwritten in pencil is text reading: "German's \ ship". In the upper proper right corner of the back is a purple ink stamp reading "A45".
