Description:
Black and white horizontal photograph of Princess Kathleen ship, name on port side ship bow on rocks on proper right, can see whole port sides. Lifeboats suspended off port side proper left. Rock outcropping on proper right lower corner, man with strap over his shoulder facing ship. Another man proper right on top of rocks with hat on and bent over. Water visible just above lower rocks and along proper left side. Ship is slanted, bow higher on proper right and aft in water on proper left. At bottom proper right written on negative, "6 PR KATHLEEN — PT LENA, ALASKA, 9—7—52". In lower proper left "T. Davis" Juneau is written. Back, lower proper right, the number "8" has been stamped.

Princess Kathleen run aground — Sept 7, 1952 at Lena Point 17 miles N. of Juneau.
